IPMA is a non-profit international association for professional practitioners, advancing public trust through rigorous education, ethical conduct, and accountable institutional standards.
Our mandate is to advance the profession while protecting the public interest. We publish understandable expectations for education, assessment, registry integrity, and professional representation so that learners, clients, employers, and schools can make better-informed decisions.
The Alliance supports vocational longevity by connecting instructors to continuing education, professional resources, and a global community of peers. It promotes sustainable teaching practice, clear scope of work, and the dignity of a career built over time.
IPMA also unifies global lineages without reducing them to a single teacher style. IPMTA evaluates educational structure and institutional accountability; it does not prescribe an individual instructor’s artistic voice or erase the heritage of responsible lineages.
